Girls Director of Operations
Katie graduated from Towson University in May, 2014 where she played 4 years of Division I lacrosse. She is coming aboard the Sentry Team after having been the Director of Operations for the Towson Women's Lacrosse team for the past year.
Katie Leech helped lead the Tigers win three straight Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) Championships and four straight CAA regular season titles. Katie was a go-to player for the Tigers over her four-year career as she started her career as a defensive midfielder and draw specialist. Katie set the school record for career games played with a total of 76, as well as reaching the top 10 in caused turnovers, groundballs and draw controls. Katie led her team in 2012, 2013, and 2014 in draw controls finishing with a total of 119 and reaching the top 5 in career history for Towson. Katie earned 2nd team All-CAA honors, 2014 Preseason All-CAA, CAA Defensive Player of the Week honors after leading the Tigers to a pair of CAA road victories, Towson’s Iron Tiger award, and 2013 Preseason All-CAA Honorable Mention. Katie has coached at many premier college camps including Maryland, Naval Academy, Syracuse, and Towson as well as for a premier club lacrosse program in Baltimore for the past 6 years.
In high school Katie was a four-year, two sport varsity starter at Winters Mill High School in lacrosse and soccer. She helped lead her lacrosse team to their first, two State Championships with 81 goals and 24 assists as a senior and was a 1st Team All-American. She was named as one of the Top 25 Rising Juniors” by Inside Lacrosse…named second team All-Metro honors by the Baltimore Sun as a sophomore and was awarded All County and All-Conference picks throughout her high school career.
Katie will be the Head coach for Mckinney's Lacrosse program for the 2015-2016 season.
James Madison University/ Camp Coordinator
Stephanie Finely is a recent 2015 graduate from James Madison University where she played Division 1 lacrosse for 4 years. She was a go to player on the attacking and defensive end of the field. She helped lead her team to the CAA championship title in 2015.
Stephanie Finley joins the Sentry staff as a current STX team member that will play in England in the summer of 2015. She was previously on the US National team in 2014-2015. In 2015 she was second on the team with 48 goals and 13 assists. In 2015 she also had a team-high 55 draw controls along with 27 ground balls and 13 caused turnovers, while earning CAA Player of the Week honors on April 27. Stephanie was named 2015 Preseason All-American honorable mention by Inside Lacrosse and earned Preseason CAA Player of the Year recognition. In 2014 Stephanie earned CAA Co-Player of the Year and First Team All-CAA, IWLCA All-South Region and ECAC Division I All-Star Second Teams, CAA All-Tournament Team. She also started all 18 games and led the Dukes with a single-season program record 69 draw controls alongside a team-leading 44 goals and 59 points.
In highschool Stephanie was All-AACA (Athletic Association of Catholic Academies) First Team as a sophomore, junior and senior. All-Delaware County First Team as a senior, Second Team as a junior and Honorable Mention as a sophomore. All-Main Line First Team as a junior and senior, Second Team as a sophomore and Honorable Mention as a freshman. Led team in scoring as a sophomore, junior and senior. Princeton University / Coach
Erin comes to Dallas from Princeton University where she majored in Psychology and was a Student-Athlete Wellness Leader. While at Princeton, Erin helped her team win an Ivy League Championship in 2011 and compete in the Elite 8 in Princeton's run the NCAA Championship. Originally from Ohio, Erin has coached for Midwestern Force Lacrosse and Lucky Lax out of Columbus.
William & Mary / Coach
Courtney played at Ursline Academy in Dallas, She was a 2-time captain who earned all state honors as a junior. She was selected to the US Lacrosse National All Academic Team in 2011 and named to the Dallas Morning News All-Area team in 2011.
2015- Junior Season at William & Mary
Saw action in six games and earned a start against Delaware... Finished the season with three goals, a ground ball and a draw control... Totaled a goal and a draw control in the win against Gardner-Webb... Posted a goal and a ground ball versus Delaware... Also scored a goal against No. 12 Louisville...
Penn State University / Goalie Coach
Originally from Northport, New York, Jess played lacrosse at Penn State University. She was a goal keeper and helped the team achieve a bid to the NCAA playoffs in 2005. Jess was a Dean's List Scholar and Academic All-American while she was a Nittany Lion, and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Fordham University School of Law.
