Sentry Lacrosse

My Name is Patrick DeBolt, former lacrosse coach at Duke, Ohio State and Hofstra University. I moved to Texas in 2011 to start Sentry Lacrosse located in Dallas, which is now one of the best programs in Texas and on a national level.  Please note that I now live in The Tribute and I would like to build lacrosse in the area with you by offering lacrosse events such as private/group lessons, clinics, and camps. In time, I plan on going to all the elementary schools to teach the boys and girls about lacrosse and I plan on offering free events in the area to help grow the sport. The best way to stay informed is by joining our mailing list for upcoming events.

We recognize that lacrosse is a newer sport in The Colony/Little Elm, however we strongly believe lacrosse is a great complimentary sport for football, hockey, basketball, baseball and soccer players. Lacrosse is a great complementary for all sports and it will help players become a better overall athlete. My brother played football and lacrosse at Notre Dame and was captain of both sports, and growing up we both tried almost every sport at one time or another. Both my brother and I played baseball until 8th grade because we had an Uncle that played professional baseball however, we both fell in love with lacrosse because our Dad brought us to a free lacrosse clinic at Hobart College. Trying lacrosse was one of the best decisions I ever made and I hope everyone tries it a couple times. Our long term goal is to build a Little Elm school program, and it all starts with getting players interested and trying the sport locally. 

Since we are new to The Colony area, we kindly ask you to help spread the word about upcoming events to people in the area. Players located anywhere near The Tribute, Little Elm, Hebron, Frisco, Prosper, Mckinney, Lewisville, Plano, etc. are more than welcome to attend The Tribute events.  Everyone is welcome, and we hope everyone considers joining the Tribute Tribe Family.

• Boys Select Teams: If your son would like to try out a team practice this summer with Sentry Lacrosse, he is more than welcome to try practice for FREE however, he will need full gear (Helmet, Gloves, Shoulder pads, Elbow pads, Stick), which I am willing to help with.  Below you will find a link to all team practices this summer. Education: Coach DeBolt would like to teach lacrosse at your elementary and middle schools for FREE. Coach DeBolt has introduced the sport of lacrosse to many schools in Texas and I think your students would really enjoy learning about the game. Below are a couple key topics to make this happen: 

• Parents: In order for this to happen effectively, a parent will need to communicate with the athletic director or physical education teacher and let them know Coach DeBolt is willing to come to the school to teach lacrosse. Parents can copy and paste this information to them. If they agree, please tell them to email Coach DeBolt directly at Patdebolt1@gmail.com

• Format: If possible, Coach DeBolt would like to be at the elementary school for 2 days, and at the middle school for 2 days. Day 1, I would see half the school, and Day 2, I would see the other half. I will teach the foundations of the sport in a fun, inclusive, and professional manner.

• Equipment: I have all the equipment needed (lacrosse cages, 100 lacrosse sticks, and lots of tennis balls)
• Background check: I am happy to complete any background check necessary beforehand. 
• Dates: Please let me know what dates work best for your physical education teachers and I will make it work on my end.
