Sentry Lacrosse

Sentry Lacrosse is a national lacrosse company offering travel elite level club teams, camps, clinics, leagues, and private lessons for boys ages Kindergarten- 12th Grade. Sentry also operates team tournaments and recruiting showcases for boys all-star teams ages 8-18. Finally, Sentry runs a full scale retail and team sales  based in Dallas, Texas.

Our Mission & Motto Since we started in 2011:

1. Family is the foundation of Sentry Lacrosse. Always remember that lacrosse is a privilege! Never take family, education, or friends for granted. Learning and improving everyday should always be the focus. By definition, "Sentry" is a guard, or something that protects a loved one. The Sentry mascot is “Uncle Sentry” which is Sentry’s version of  “Uncle Sam”. Sentry strongly believes that “Uncle Sentry” is the toughest, most appropriate mascot a Texas team could have, considering how much Texans love Texas and their country. (See image of Uncle Sentry at very bottom).  All players are encouraged to do their part, both on and off the field, to support and protect their family and friends. This includes being a relentless, respectful, and committed teammate that loves what he does. When times get tough, players, parents, and coaches need to support, educate, and motivate one another for maximum growth.
2. Coaches are expected to be great role models, both on and off the field, and should strive to educate, motivate, and challenge players to their maximum potential. We believe that active participation on a competitive team, combined with an experienced and supportive coaching staff, will provide student athletes with the necessary college exposure, while also developing lifetime skills such as leadership, commitment, time management, teamwork and good sportsmanship.
3. The experience of the Sentry coaching staff covers all levels of lacrosse: Youth development, High School All-Americans, and nationally prominent players in the N.C.A.A. rankings, some of which have won National Lacrosse Championships. Sentry Lacrosse coaches' past experience, proven track record, and current relationships with major college recruiters is a tremendous asset in helping place our student athletes get placed in prominent college programs. From Kindergarten-8th grade, our main focus is offering as many practices as possible to create good muscle memory, strong fundamentals, and a great feel for the game by improving sport specific IQ. From 9th-12th grade, Sentry begins educating players and families about the college recruiting process. Sentry offers an unparalleled recruitment outline with all the necessary tools for player interested in excelling at the next level.
4. Sentry Values: Team health, leadership, commitment, organization, communication, execution.

Sentry lacrosse was founded in 2011 and is now one of the fastest growing select lacrosse programs in Texas. Sentry Lacrosse started after discovering the need for top level coaching and competition in the Dallas area. The only way to get better is to be coached by the best, and play against the best.  Everyone in our organization is united by the passion for the game and dedication to raising the bar for Texas lacrosse. Our goal is to form the most elite teams in Dallas while providing our players with the best possible coaching.

Pat DeBolt: Pat has 5 years of Division I coaching experience including a National Championship with the Duke Blue Devils. He has worked with some of the best players in the world and coached alongside the top coaches in the game including Coach Tierney from Hofstra University, Coach Myers from The Ohio State University and Coach Danowski from Duke University.  Coach Debolt has extensive experience working with the top select lacrosse programs around the country and he is bringing his knowledge and expertise to Sentry.
